Libya achieved first place in the Innovation - Advanced Level - category at the conclusion of the 13th Arab Open Robotics Championship held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from July 1 to 4, 2022. The competition was fierce, with teams from 12 Arab countries.
The winning Libyan team consisted of college graduate Eng. Khalid Salem Al-Warfalli and final-year student Moaz Hussein Ahbara, under the supervision of Dr. Fathia Al-Zuwei, Mr. Abdel Fattah Boushnaf, and Dr. Nailah Al-Manqoush, faculty members of the college. The participation was part of the Fab Lab Libya team.
Congratulations to the winners who raised Libya's name high in this scientific Arab championship, and congratulations to Fab Lab for this significant achievement, especially to the ever-exceptional Dr. Fathia Al-Zuwei.
